Generating an Allocation Unit Report

This task shows you how to generate an allocation unit report, which shows all builds and lots in the As-Built BOM that have a status of Allocated.

Before you begin:

Access the As-Built BOM Page.

  1. From the page toolbar, click Reports > Allocation Unit Report.
    The Select Levels to Display form opens.
  2. Specify a number of BOM levels to be displayed in the report or check All to display all levels.
  3. Click Done.
    The Allocation Unit Report Summary page opens.
    ColumnDescription
    NameName of the build or lot. This column contains highlighted links. Click any link to go to the Properties page of that object.
    TypeThe type of build or lot
    RevisionThe object's revision number or code
    DescriptionDetails about the object
    As-Built StatusFor this report, this status is Allocated
    Allocated DateThe date when the build or lot was allocated
    Parent Build NameThe name of the parent build. This column contains highlighted links. Click any link to go to the Properties page of that build.
  4. From the page Actions menu or toolbar, click Install to change the status of the allocated build to Install. See About As-Built BOM.
