You can insert a new product in an existing assembly. The new product is added as a child of the
selected product.
When you create new content, you must
specify the associated design range. Normal range is the default option and is sufficient in
the majority of cases. For more information, see 3DEXPERIENCE
Native Apps:
Introducing Design Range Management.
From the Product Modification section of the action bar, click:
Insert New Product to
insert a physical product.
Insert New Extended Product to
insert a physical product with an extended type (Building and Civil
Architecture, Piping and Tubing Physical...).
Notes:
To successively repeat this action, double-click the command. The
repeat mode is only available for a monoselection. To end the repeat mode,
press
Esc.
This command is also available from the context menu.
In the New Content dialog box, select the convenient product.
