Creating Manikin Posture Using Manikin Data Library Manager

You can apply existing postures only, after predefining them first.

Use the Manikin Data Library Manager to create positions for the Manikin Postures from the Human Definition action bar. You can then manage the libraries efficiently using a set of ready-made posture tabs for human libraries. Then you can delete attribute items within a library and manage the interaction skills within this library. Store this data on a manikin in a session or in a user-defined library.

Name the stored Profiles and Settings objects intelligently, as these names are the names that display in the Apply Manikin Posture selection panel.

You can use only the Postures found under the Manikin (Human) assigned to the Operation select the filmstrip. These postures can apply on all Manikins assigned to the current operation.

A Manikin can have different Postures in different Views of the current Operation.

Example Case: There are 5 Views on the current Operation and three Humans assigned to the Operation. Each of the three Humans has some postures defined. Following is an example usage.

You can apply Positions to the Manikin during the Posture creation. If the Position option was selected when creating the Profile and Settings objects, then this position applies to the Manikin when applying the Posture.

An example would be Referential.

The associated Profile and Settings are applied whenever a View is applied. So the Profile and Settings are available.

If the Posture or Position updates in the following sessions in Ergonomics at Work app, then the updated Posture / Position applies in Work Instructions whenever the corresponding Views apply.

Deleting the Posture in the following sessions in Ergonomics at Work app, then the following message (customized for the resource) displays in Work Instructions whenever the corresponding Views apply. Warning: The Posture for "Worker1A.1 (Worker1.1)" is no longer available. Nominal Posture has been restored.
