Opening the Information Panel of Assets

You can open the Information panel of a selected asset to display various information about it and perform various actions with it.

Open the Information Panel from an Asset

You can open the Information panel from a single asset.

From a place or collection, open the Information panel by doing one of the following:
  • From the asset of your choice, click (tap) Menu and select View Information .
  • Right-click (hold) the asset of your choice and select View Information .

Note: When you open the Information panel of an asset from a 3DDrive folder, you open a reduced version of the Information panel that provides you with primary information about the selected asset.

Open the Information Panel from the 3DPlay Preview

You can open the Information panel of a selected asset from the 3DPlay preview.

  1. To open the 3DPlay preview, from a place or collection and depending on your context, do one of the following:

    Context Action
    Thumbnails layout
    • Double-click (double tap) the asset of your choice.
    • From the asset of your choice, click (tap) Menu and select Open in 3DPlay .
    • Right-click (hold) the asset of your choice and select Open in 3DPlay .
    Tiles layout
    List view
    • From the asset of your choice, click (tap) Menu and select Open in 3DPlay .
    • Right-click (hold) the asset of your choice and select Open in 3DPlay .

    Note: When you open the 3DPlay preview of an asset from a 3DDrive folder, you open a reduced version of the Information panel that provides you with primary information about the selected asset.

  2. Click (tap) Asset Information .
