Keyboard shortcuts are key combinations that invoke commands.

Standard

Keyboard Shortcut Action
Space Displays a Search box at the position of your pointer to let you create an operation.
  • From scratch:

    When you work in the main window and press Space, you can enter a search string in the box and select the operation to create.

  • From an operation under creation:

    While you create an operation in the main window, you can press Space to validate the operation and use its output to create another operation you search in the box.

  • From a selection:

    When a geometry is selected, you can press Space to create an operation using the selected geometry as input.

  • From a specific output:

    When you work in the Graph Editor, you can select the output of an operation and then press Space to create an operation from the selected output.

  • From a node:

    When you work in the Graph Editor, you can select a node and then press Space to create an operation from the selected node. By default, the first output is selected for the creation.

    Tip: This is helpful to create an operation from a node that is not displayed in the view area you are working on. Select the node, move your viewpoint, and then press Space to be able to create an operation from the selected node even if it is not displayed in the current area of the Graph Editor.
Alt + G When the Overlay mode is activated, opens or closes the Graph Editor.

Main Window

Keyboard Shortcut Action
Ctrl + S Saves current model.
Ctrl + Z Undoes the last command.
Ctrl + Y Redoes the last command.
Tab Moves to next tab stop in dialog boxes.
Shift + Tab Moves to previous tab stop in dialog boxes.
Enter Validates a command in dialog boxes.
Esc Cancels a command in dialog boxes.
F2 Renames an operation.

This shortcut is available when you select an operation in the tree or when you edit an operation in a dialog box.

Delete Deletes an operation selected in the tree.

Graph Editor

Keyboard Shortcut Action
Ctrl + S Saves current model.
Ctrl + Z Undoes the last command.
Ctrl + Y Redoes the last command.
Ctrl + F Displays the search box to search for an operation or a region.
Delete Deletes a node, a region, or a connection.
Alt When the Overlay mode is activated, deactivates temporality the Graph Editor to let you manipulate the 3D view.

Alt + G When the Overlay mode is activated, deactivates the Graph Editor to let you manipulate the 3D view. Press Alt + G again to go back to your graph.

Arrow keys Moves the view in the arrow's direction.
