Operation Edition Panel

The operation edition panel appears when you click a node.


	Name of the operator
	Color Allows to apply a color to the geometry resulting from the operation.
	Help Displays a panel that provides help for the selected operator.
	Name of the operation
	Literal inputs (Numbers, Length, Boolean, etc.) Literal inputs that are not connected can be edited and extracted. See Context Bar.

	Outputs
	Favorite outputs See Favorites.
	Hidden connectors Click a hidden connector to display it.

Input and Output Panels

The input and output panels appear when you click an input or an output.

	Favorites Opens a panel to let you select a favorite output. See Favorites.

Context Bar

The context bar appears when you select an operation, a region, or a note. It is also available from the operation edition panel.


	Visibility Manages the display of the 3D output of an operation in the 3D area. See Operation Options.
	Activation Manages the update of an operation after a modification. See Operation Options.
	Reframe the 3D Viewer on the output result Centers the view in the 3D area on the corresponding output geometry. Notes: The command is not available for hidden nodes. You can also middle-click a node to reframe the view.
	Set as controller Allows to set an input parameter as controller. See Experimenting with Controllers.
	Monitor Allows to set an output parameter as a monitored output. See About Monitored Outputs.
	Create a group from the selected nodes Adds a selection of operations or regions to a new region. See Regions.
	Remove from group Removes a selection from a region.
	Duplicate/Duplicate with dataflows Duplicates or duplicates with connections a selection of operations or regions. See Operation Creation.
	Auto-layout Manages the position of nodes in your graph: Vertical Align Horizontal Align Layering Layering with inputs on the left Local layering with force-based algorithm
	Create a user operator Lets you create your own operator. See Creating a User Operator.
	Delete Removes nodes or regions from the graph. Note: Deleting a region does not delete the nodes inside the region.

Operators Library

This library allows to find the operators you need to create operations. It is displayed at the bottom of the Graph Editor. Operators categories are organized in tabs.

Categories of operators

Hide/Show the library

Lets you hide or show the upper part of the library. When the upper part is hidden, only the search is available.

Click or drag an operator to add it to the graph.

Subcategories

To manage the display of the operators belonging to a subcategory, you can click the name of a subcategory or the arrow.

When you search an operator, the names of subcategories are used as tags to help you refine your search.

Lets you find an operator to create an operation.

Adds a note in the graph.

Displays additional features:


Docking	Lets you manage the display of the Graph Editor: : Window Mode When this mode is selected, the Graph Editor is displayed in a separate window of your browser. : Overlay Mode When this mode is selected, the Graph Editor is displayed over the 3D area in the main window. Notes: The last mode selected in the session is saved locally. You can manage the opacity of the overlay in your graph's Preferences.
Export as SVG	Lets you share your graph's view using SVG format. You can either: Upload the exported SVG file in 3DDrive and then display it in 3DPlay. Display the exported SVG file in your web browser.
Help	Displays the online user assistance for the operators.
Libraries	Lets you select one or several libraries available in your collaborative space. A library is a VPMDocument that is saved in your content. Thanks to libraries you can share and reuse content with other users.
Settings	Lets you customize your preferences. For more information, see Customizing Preferences in the Graph Editor.

About the Search Feature

To search for an operator using the library, you can enter a search string in the Search box.

Results corresponding to your search are displayed in the library. You can click a tag () to refine your search by subcategories.

You can also enter a predefined pattern to search for a specific operator and create the corresponding operation with a prevaluated parameter.

For example, if you enter 180deg, the search result is Angle and you can click or drag the result to create a 180-degree angle. The available patterns are the following:

Minimap

The minimap provides a miniature view of your graph to let you navigate easily the Graph Editor.

Clicking at the upper-right corner of the window displays the minimap.

To navigate the view, move the dotted rectangle and use the slider to zoom in or out.
