Editing a Formula

After you create or open a formula, you can edit it by adding ingredients, creating phases, and inserting processing instructions.


Before you begin: To perform this task, you must have the Formulation Designer 3DS role.

Context: You can edit a formula by adding ingredients, creating phases, and inserting processing instructions.

Note:

  • All changes that you make to the formula are queued immediately for saving.
  • If your computer loses its connection to the Formulation Designserver for any reason, an error message appears, and you cannot edit the formula until the connection is re-established.

  1. Create phases in the formula. Phases group together ingredients. For instructions on using phases, see Working with Phases.
