Living Map Home Page

The topic explains the sections, views, fields, and actions in the home page of the Living Map app. From the Living Map home page, you can create and manage pathway models. When a pathway model is open, the left panel collapses to an Actions menu and all its commands display with icons.

Start a New Activity

From the left panel, you can start the following activities.

Action Description For More Information
Create new content Create a new pathway model from scratch. Creating New Models
Import content Import existing pathway models from files. Importing Models
Duplicate displayed content Creates a new pathway model from the open model. Duplicating Models

Access Your Work

From the left pane, you can list pathway models. You can view, merge, delete, or duplicate each pathway model.

Filter Description
All content Access all pathway models available to you.
My content Access all pathway models that you own.
BIOVIA content Access all example pathway models provided with Living Map.
My recent content Access the pathway models that you have worked with recently.

For each of the pathway model lists, you can choose what to do with a model by clicking :

  • View - opens the pathway model in a read only view in the Map Area.
  • Edit - opens the pathway model that you own in an edit view in the Map Area.
  • Duplicate - creates a copy of the pathway model. You own the new pathway model and you can make edits as required.
  • Delete - deletes this pathway model. You can only delete models that you own.
