Know-how Apps Components Access to Content

Depending on your access role, you can create and manage the following types of content with Know-how Apps Components.

Access Roles

Know-how Apps Components uses the 3DEXPERIENCE platform 3DSpace baseline access roles that your business administrator assigns to you. The table below describes the level of access for each role.

Access Role Description
Reader Has read access to any data, and can create and modify Personal Management category data.
Author Deploys and uses the application. He also saves the data generated by the application.
Leader Is in charge of:
  • Creating the know-how apps package
  • Creating the know-how application
  • Creating the know-how apps component
  • Creating the know-how apps resources container
  • Creating the resource data
  • Binding the know-how apps component to a collaborative space.
Note: Creation commands available in the Know-how Apps Creation app can only be used by the Leader.

Your business administrator can change the default accesses to commands, content, and collaborative spaces. Companies can also implement customized roles and accesses. This guide describes the default behavior when describing access to content or commands.
