Steel Section

The Steel section of the action bar provides commands for attaching and editing attributes as well as commands for creating plates, beams, stiffeners, stiffeners on free edges, and parametric plates.

BIM Attributes
Lets you attach attributes to BIM, and assign extensions to specify element attributes according to classification standards.
See Adding and Editing BIM Attributes.
See Creating an Object Type.
Publish
Lets you publish features in 3D shapes so that they can be processed in Building & Civil Structures Engineering.
See Publishing Objects.
Change Level of Development
Exposes, synchronizes, or upgrades the view of published component specifications by instantiating either the user feature or the engineering template.
Use this command with object type-based components.
See Changing the Level of Development and Diagnosing Computation Incidents.
See also About Change Level of Development.

Plate
Creates a plate.
See Creating a Plate.

Parametric Plate
Creates a parametric plate using a sketch contour.
See Creating Parametric Plates.

Stiffener
Creates a stiffener on a panel or a plate to strengthen it.
See Creating a Stiffener.

Members
Creates Members to provide support to the structure.
See Creating Members.

Break Profile
Breaks a profile (a stiffener, a stiffener on a free edge, or a beam) into multiple profiles.
See Breaking Profiles.

End Cut
Creates end cuts of a stiffener.
See Creating End Cuts.

Opening on Panel and Plate
Creates an opening on a panel or a plate using a standard contour or a sketched contour, or at the intersection of a 3D object with the panel or plate.

Opening on Profile
Creates an opening on a profile using a standard contour or a sketched contour, or at the intersection of a 3D object with the profile.
See Creating Openings on Profile

Copying
Creates detail cuts on the structure objects that are clashed with other objects, by removing the clashed volume.
See Creating Coping

Flyout for Members

Member - Point Length
