Workflow

This topic explains the overall procedure for creating and instantiating a steel connection assembly.

Before you begin:

Define and specify the Steel Connection PLM Modeling Definition resource in Data Setup. See Administration: About Data Setup for Steel Connection Design.
Import the parametric structure section and material references.

Create input members to replicate the joint to connect. For more information, see Creating Members.
Create connection components.
