The tree displays the structure of your documents.

Tree Tabs

For all the tree tabs that are described in the table below:

  • Click the tree tab icon to expand or collapse the tree tab.
  • Drag the tree tab icon to resize the pane.



Main Tree
When a tree tab is displayed, collapses it and displays the main tree.

Basket
Creates shortcuts in a tree tab to keep in memory the most frequently used models and documents.
From a basket tab, the following command is displayed: Search Resources .

Multiwidget Synchronization
When working with several widgets, creates a tree tab in the secondary widget. From the secondary widget, you can then display the predicates (attributes in the properties area) or semantic browsers that are associated with a model that is selected in the primary widget.

Search Result
Displays the result of a search.

Tree Tab Menu

Depending on the displayed tree tab, the menu displays additional commands.

All Tabs
Close Tree Tab: Closes the tree tab and delete the basket.
Basket
  • Set Title: Edits the title of the basket.
  • Remove Element: Removes from the basket one of the elements.
  • Export to Excel: Exports in an .xls file the content of the tree tab (for each element, the level, Id., type and title are exported in columns).
  • Sort A to Z: Displays the content in the alphabetical order.
  • Sort Z to A: Displays the content in the reverse alphabetical order.
Multiwidget Synchronization
Show Navigation Config: Opens the semantic browser in the primary widget. This command is available in the secondary widget, in the context of a semantic browser tab.

Tree Categories

Models and documents are stored in specific categories.

Note: Depending on your licenses, additional categories may be displayed.
Important: For the following categories, the tree displays only the objects you are the owner of:
  • Requirement
  • Functional
  • Logical
  • Physical
  • Pattern
  • Scope

To add an object that is owned by another user:

  1. Drag this object from:
    • The Search Results panel
    • The Bookmark Editor app
  2. Drop it to a basket or a scope.
