Creating Bookmark Roots

You can create a Bookmark Root with a title and description, and any template to use.

After creating the Bookmark Root, you can add Bookmarks and members when you are ready. The system automatically adds any predefined Bookmarks to the Bookmark Root, which you can remove, edit, and add to as required.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Contributor


Before you begin: List the available Bookmark Roots. See Bookmark Root Page.
  1. Click Create Bookmark Root from the page Actions menu. You can also start this procedure by selecting > Team > Create Bookmark Root.
  2. Enter these details about the Bookmark Root:

    Field Name Description
    Title Enter a short, descriptive title. Do not use a title that has already been used for a Bookmark Root created for your company.
    Bookmark Root Template Click to select a template. You can choose from the Bookmark Root Templates you own or that have Enterprise scope.
    Description Enter the intent or purpose of the Bookmark Root. For example, specify the type of content the Bookmark Root will manage.

  3. Click OK.

    At this point, only you can access the Bookmark Root.
