BIM Section

The BIM section provides commands for attaching and editing attributes as well as commands for managing geolocation information.

Structure View Mode
Lets you switch the view of your project from 3D design to structure.
See About Structure View.
BIM Attributes
Lets you attach attributes to BIM, and assign extensions to specify element attributes according to classification standards.
See Adding and Editing BIM Attributes.
See Creating an Object Type.
Semantic Geometry Tagger
Provides a visual semantic tag on geometries to help you diagnose the BIM model and assign missing semantic tags on geometries.
See Tagging and Publishing Semantic Geometry Elements.
BIM Manager Editor
Allows the BIM manager to track the progress of a civil engineering project by analyzing the mockup (attributes and extensions) and identify missing information.
See Using the BIM Manager Editor.

Manipulate
See Flyout for Manipulating and Snapping Components.
Design Limits B.I.
Lets you reveal information about the design range assigned to elements of the product structure.
See Design Limits.
Object Type B.I
Lets you reveal information about the type assigned to an object and its status.
See Defined by Type.
BIM completeness
Lets you reveal information about the attributes and AEC extension assigned to an object and its status.
See Checking BIM Completeness.
See BIM Completeness.
Geolocation B.I.
Lets you reveal where the geolocation information is stored and provides actions specific to geolocation for a selected object.
See Geolocation and Using Geolocation and B.I. Essentials.
Edit Geolocation
Lets you edit the geolocation parameters including switching from geodetic to cartesian input.
See Handling Geolocation.
Coordinate Converter
Lets you convert coordinates from one Coordinate Reference System to another. The Coordinate Converter panel provides source and target CRS information.
See Handling Geolocation.

Open OSM Map
Imports OSM Maps.
See OSM Map Files.
City Connection
Opens a predefined City site created in the Building Engineering 3D Design app.
See Importing City Objects

Large Terrain File
Imports large clouds of points from one or several files, in a product context.
See Importing Large Files.
Hide Large Cloud of Points

Hides a large cloud of points in a bounding box from a trap selection, a volume/closed surface or an alignment. When you extract large cloud of points, you can include or exclude the hidden area.

See Hiding Large Cloud of Points
