Creating a New Script

You can create a new script using the Modelica Script Editor.

  1. From the Behavior Tools section of the action bar, click Modelica Script Editor .

    Tip: You can also access this command from the Simulation section of the action bar.

    The Modelica Script Editor appears.

    Note: The tabs in the Modelica Script Editor allow you to have several scripts opened at the same time, but only one is active, the one you see displayed in the pane.
  2. To create a new script, click New Script in the Modelica Script Editor.
    A new tab is displayed to enter a new script.
    Notes:
    • When opening the Modelica Script Editor, such a tab is displayed by default.
    • The new tab is created with the name Unnamed or Unnamed x, where x is a number 2 or larger, depending on how many "Unnamed" tabs already present.

You can now:

  1. Edit the script.
  2. Test the script.
  3. Save the script.
