Viewing Object's Lifecycle

You can view the lifecycle for any object that you have access to.

Lifecycle page is available only for revision object and not for iterations as object promotion or demotion is performed only on revision object.

Before you begin:

Search for the object.

  1. In the Search Results page, click the object to view its details.
  2. From the Categories, select Lifecycle.

    The page shows the current state of the object highlighted.

  3. Use the Actions menu to:

    ActionDescription
    PromotePromote the selected object to the next state in the object's lifecycle. See Promoting Objects.
    DemoteDemote the selected object to the previous state in the object's lifecycle. See Demoting an object.
