Editing Task Specifications for a Worker Task

You can edit a worker task once created. This does not consume any credits.


Before you begin: Have a scenario with Resources, General Systems, and at least one Operation.

Create Worker Task Dialog Box
  1. In this scenario example, select an Operation, Tray positioning, Worker Task.1, and click Edit worker task .


    The Edit worker task dialog box appears.
  2. Click from the Manikin Risk to alter the Task Specifications.
  3. Expand the Work Hours per day section and select up to 8 hours.


  4. Click Apply and OK.
  5. Select the AssemblyTray in the 3D Geometry window.


  6. Select and raise the AssemblyTray.


  7. Select Edit current work task with new position from the 3D Move Object dialog box.


  8. Click Preview.
    Your Evaluation Package credits do NOT decrease.

    The Smart Posturing Engine computes the 4 manikins.

    This shows a posture of the manikin realizing the new defined task. The risk for the manikins update.

  9. Click each Manikin icon to change the manikin and see their risk in the scenario.
  10. Click Update when your position is acceptable.

    This updates the Worker Task.1 under the Operation (Station) tile.

    If required in the Worker Task dialog, select,

    • Edit the worker Task - edits the worker task.
    • Delete the worker task - deletes.
    • Add worker task before selection - to create a new task before the selected task.
    • Add worker task after selection - to create a new task before the selected task.

    The Product Build Up also updates.

  11. Clicking Close, exits the Edit worker task without saving.
