Relationships

The Relationships tab lets you create and manage multiple relationships with the same company and specialize them by category.

To access the Relationships tab, open the company and click Relationships. For more information on opening a supplier company, see Opening Supplier Companies.

View Relationships

You can list your relationships.

Filter Description For More Information
Filter by Filters the relationships based on the following maturity states:
  • In Work - default
  • Active - default
  • Obsolete

You can select multiple maturity states. Upon selecting a maturity state, a blue line displays next to the maturity state name.

Sort by Filters relationships based on one of the following:
  • Creation Date
  • Name

The selected sort filter displays in blue.

Tile View Displays the relationship in a tile. Tile View
Datagrid View Displays the relationship in a table. Datagrid View
New Relationship Creates a relationship. Creating Relationships

Tile View

The Tile View displays relationship details in a tile. For more information on data views, see Data Views.

Field Description
The relationship image.
Relationship Name The name of the relationship.
Level The type of relationship:
  • Potential Supplier
  • Candidate Supplier
  • Supplier
  • Partner
  • Refused Supplier
By default, the value is Potential Supplier.
Product Category The category for the relationship.
Maturity State

The current maturity state of the object.

Status Bar The preference level of the relationship:
  • Not Preferred
  • Default
  • Preferred
By default, the value is Default.
The relationship effectivity status and expiration date:
  • - The relationship is active and has passed the expiration date.
  • - The relationship is in work and has passed the start date or the relationship is active and the end date is due within 30 days.
  • - The relationship end date is more than 30 days away.

Datagrid View

The Datagrid View lists the relationship details in a table. For more information on data views, see Data Views.

Field Description
Name The name of the relationship.
Product Category The category for the relationship.
Level The type of relationship:
  • Potential Supplier
  • Candidate Supplier
  • Supplier
  • Partner
  • Refused Supplier
By default, the value is Potential Supplier.
Preference Status The preference level of the relationship:
  • Not Preferred
  • Default
  • Preferred
By default, the value is Default.
Type The type of relationship.
Relationship Effectivity End Date The relationship effectivity status and expiration date.
  • - The relationship is active and has passed the expiration date.
  • - The relationship is in work and has passed the start date or the relationship is active and the end date is due within 30 days.
  • - The relationship end date is more than 30 days away.

Creation Date

The date and time when the object was created.

Modification Date

The date and time when the object was last modified. If not modified, this date is the same as the Creation Date.

State

The current maturity state of the object.

Context Menu

You can click or right-click in the tile and select the following actions:

Action Description
Promote Promotes the relationship from the In Work state to the Active state.
Demote Demotes the relationship from the Active state to the In Work state. You can edit the relationship in theIn Work state.
