Searching for User Groups and Users

You can search for user groups in the current platform, or for a member of any of your groups.

  1. Select either of the following:
    OptionDescription
    To search for a group:

    • In the Search field, select Search or Search In Current Tab.
    • Enter the name of the group.

    To search for a user within a group:

    • In the left pane of the app, click a group, and enter the name of the user.
    • In the Search field, select Search or Search In Current Tab.

  2. Click Search or Filter , or press Enter.

  3. To filter all your groups by access role do the following:
    1. In the left pane, select All Groups
    2. On the upper-right of the list of groups, click Filter Groups, and select either of the following:

    • Responsibilities:

      • Member
      • Viewer
      • Manager
      • Owner

    • Group Type:

      • Public
      • Private

If you have searched for a group, the group is displayed. If you have searched for a user within a group, the user is displayed.

If you change your 3DEXPERIENCE language preferences, for example to French, and have modified the name and description of a group for this language, and search for this group, the French name and description will be displayed for this group.

Notes:
  • To clear the search criteria, click Clear.
  • When searching and filtering results using automatically extracted 6WTags, you can use the creation and modification dates. For more information, see Filtering with 6WTags
