Controlling Access to Content in Collaborative Spaces

The ability to author and access content in collaborative spaces is controlled by baseline behavior.

Accessing content means reading, searching, connecting to, and so on. Authoring content means creating and modifying content.

For all content responsibilities, if a user has locked content, that user automatically has unlocked access for that content, regardless of other conditions, until the user unlocks the content.

Administrators can activate or de-activate various rules to change access to content using baseline behavior. For more information, see Configuring Content Security and Business Processes.
