Selecting Multiple Objects

There are several methods to select multiple objects from the Search Results panel.

To select multiple objects in the Search Results panel:

Select multiple results Hold the CTRL key and click the results you want to select.

In Thumbnail, Textual Tile, or Tile view, hover over the result thumbnails and click their icons.

In Datagrid view, use the select boxes at the beginning of each row.

Warning: This feature is not available in mobile screen resolution (screen width below 1280 px).
Select all results Go to the upper right of the Search Results panel, click and select Select all to select all the objects shown in the panel.
Note: If the total number of results is higher than 200, this action selects the first 200 results. An information message appears saying that only 200 results are selected out of the total number.
Select a range of adjacent results Click a first result, press the SHIFT key, and click the last result.
Clear your object selection Use Unselect all to clear all the objects selected in the Search Results panel.

Notes:
  • 3DSearch displays only the intersection of the actions for all selected objects.
  • Actions that support a single selection only do not appear, even if the objects selected are of the same type.
