Focusing on Preferred Types

As a huge number of types and sub-types are available in 3DEXPERIENCE applications, you may want to get a quick access to a consistent subset of this data. You can use preferred types to concentrate on this data.

  1. Click in:
    • The Top Bar search field.
    • The Advanced Search Type field.
    The first seven preferred types appear at the top of the list.
  2. If you select a preferred Type in the Search menu, the Advanced Search opens, with this Type selection, and 3DSpace as selected data source.
