Change Action for an Object

You can list the change actions associated with the selected object.

To access this page:

  1. Open an object associated with a change order.
  2. In the navigation pane, select Change Management.
  3. Select the Change Action tab.

Columns

Columns Description
Change Action Name of the change action associated with the change order. Click to go to the Properties page.
Status Icon representing the approval status of the change action.

Approval status of the change order:

  • In Work (not late)
  • In Work (late)
  • Completed (on time)
  • Completed (late)

State Status of the change action:
  • Draft
  • In Work (not late)
  • In Work (late)
  • Completed (on time)
  • Completed (late)
Assignees Person, role, or group who needs to complete the task. Click to open the properties page for that user (no link if the assignee is a role or a group).
Start Date Date from which change(s) will be in effect.
Due Date Shows the date the change(s) is/are due.
Requested Change Operation that the change action is to perform on the proposed change. For a description of the possible requested changes, see Proposed Changes.
Change Comments The comment or reason for change
Responsible Org Business organization where the change was raised
Approver Person who is responsible for impact analysis and technical approval of the work on the change action

Add to Existing Change Action Adds the object to an existing change action. Predefined Queries
Remove Remove the relationship between the selected proposed changes and the change object, but does not delete the items from the database. Click OK to confirm.

After the proposed change is removed, if the corresponding change action is not associated with any other proposed change, then that change action is not deleted. If the proposed change is added again, it is not added to this change action.
