Creating Pins

You can create pins and insert them under the following electrical components:

  • Harness connector
  • Splice
  • Disconnect
  • Terminal

This structure is displayed in the tree, under the Extensions > Port node.

You can define forbidden characters through the Pin Name Forbidden Characters resource of Data Setup to forbid the use of certain characters. If the name of the pin contains forbidden characters, you cannot validate your creation. When creating several pins, the forbidden characters are skipped. For more information, see Electrical Logical Resources.
