Customizing Preferences

You can access and customize preferences for the Functional & Logical Design app.

  1. From the top bar, select Me > Preferences, and then click the App Preferences tab.
  2. In the left-hand pane, expand 3D Modeling, and then Systems Architecture.
  3. Select Functional and Logical Design.
  4. In the right-hand pane, expand the section corresponding to the options to be customized.

    Section Description
    General Customizes the general display of the tree and common functionality.
    Tree Customizes the RFLP, Functional, and Logical trees.
    2D Graph F/L Customizes the functional and logical 2D graph.
    Requirement 2D Customizes the general options for each requirement in the 2D graph.
    Functional 2D Customizes the 2D representation for functions.
    Flow 2D Customizes the 2D representation for data flows.
    Logical 2D Customizes the 2D representation for logical components, ports and logical connections.
    System Type 2D Customizes the 2D representation for system types.
    Physical 2D Customizes the 2D representation for physical components.
    Live Validation Customizes the default visibility in a Live Validation mode.
    Tooltip Customizes the tooltip content and display in 2D representation.
    Port Association Wizard Customizes the editability management when performing a port propagation with the wizard.
    Traceability Matrix Customizes the display of the Matrix Editor.
    Diagram View Customizes the display in a diagram view.
    Annotations Customizes handle options, such as handle reference size and zoomable, paper grid, rotation and annotations handles.
    Annotation and Dress-Up Customizes legend table.
    Sequence Diagram Customizes the display in a sequence diagram.

  5. In the left-hand pane, expand Systems Modeling and Execution, and then select Dymola Behavior Modeling.

    Section Description
    Compiler Customizes the C compiler required to compile the Modelica code before a virtual execution.

  6. In the left-hand pane, select Systems Architecture.

    Section Description
    Publication Configures the publication display and selection.

  7. Set these options according to your needs.
