Access Roles

Fastening uses the 3DEXPERIENCE platform 3DSpace baseline access roles that your business administrator assigns to you. The table below describes the level of access for each role.

Access Role Description
Reader Has read access to any content and can create and modify Personal Management category data.
Contributor Has modify access to all content.
Author Has access to all authoring commands.

uses app-specific roles, instead of the 3DEXPERIENCE platform 3DSpace baseline roles. If you know your baseline role, use the table below to map it to your app-specific access role.

Your business administrator can change the default accesses to commands, content, and collaborative spaces. Companies can also implement customized roles and accesses. This guide describes the default behavior when describing access to content or commands.
