Creating Simulations

A kinematics or a dynamics simulation consists of three components: a model, a scenario, and a result.

These components can be described as follows:

  • Model: The product to be simulated and its associated mechanism representation.
  • Scenario: The parameters that define the simulation, including scenarios, excitations, and probes.
  • Result: Animations and postprocessing data for the simulated mechanism.
