Exporting a Recorded Excitation

You can export a recorded excitation to an Excel file and retrieve this file later using the Search function.

Before you begin:
  • Open a kinematics simulation in the Mechanical Systems Experience app.
  • Create a kinematics scenario using the Kinematics Excitation Recorder command .

  1. Under the scenario node in the tree, right-click a recorded excitation, and select Export.
  2. Optional: In the Name box, modify the name of the recorded excitation.
  3. Click OK.
The values of the recorded excitation are exported to an Excel File. If you propagate the simulation, the generated Excel file is automatically propagated to the database as an attached document. For more information, see Simulations and Documents.
