-
Select one or several objects, and from the
Lifecycle section of the action bar click Maturity
.
The Maturity dialog box appears. If you
selected one object, it displays the maturity graph. If you selected
several objects, it displays the list of selected objects.
-
To select a new maturity state, do one of the following:
Option | Description |
---|
You selected one object |
- In the maturity graph, click the name of the transition,
or the transition arrow ( or ) of your choice.
Note:
The
maturity graph only indicates the maturity states
available for the object.
- Optional: If you selected a
product structure, to change the maturity state of its
children along with the maturity state of the selected
product, select the Include Structural
Objects option.
The maturity state you
select is applied to the parent product, and to all
its children the transition is applicable
to.
|
You selected several objects |
- From the list of maturity states, select the new
maturity state of your choice.
For each object, an
icon indicates if the transition can be applied to
the object:
-
Applicable Transition
- Not Applicable Transition
- Optional: To exclude an object
and not apply the maturity transition to it,
double-click the corresponding Applicable Transition
icon.
The icon changes to (Not Applied Transition) and the object's
maturity state is not modified when the transition
is applied.
Note:
Aggregated representations are automatically added just
after their corresponding part, even if they are not
opened in the Authoring session. By default, the chosen
maturity state also applies to them.

The maturity state of the objects is modified.
If you selected large data and the operation requires a prolonged amount of
time to complete, a message appears. The operation continues in the background, and
a notification appears in the 3DNotification Center when it is completed, if Collaborative Lifecycle notifications are
activated. For more information, see Customizing 3DNotifications.
Note:
When you select several
objects, if the operation fails for at least one of them (for example, if
the object has been modified or locked by someone else after you clicked the
command), no transitions are processed.
