Creating an Event

If you encounter multiple problems and you want to raise complaints for them, you can add each problem as an event under a single complaint. You can add multiple events to a complaint. However, you can designate only one event as the primary event. When you create the event, the selected reported item is added to it. You can also add more models later.


Before you begin:
  • You must be a Quality Manager or the owner of the complaint.
  • You must be on the Complaint Power View page.

Copying an Event
  1. From the Complaint Power View page, in the Events tab toolbar, click Create New.
    The Create Event section appears.
  2. Enter the event details, as required.
    Field Name Description
    Type Displays the type of the object, in this case, an event
    Experience CodeType the required code or click and select an experience code from the Standard Codes page. You can select more than one experience code. One event is created for each experience code.
    Date of OccurrenceDisplays today's date. Click to select the required date. You can select only a past date.
    TimingSelect a timing from the list.
    Issue CodeType the required code or click and select an issue code from the Standard Codes page. You can select more than one issue code.
    reported itemClick and select a reported item from the Search Results page.
    Problem DescriptionDescribe the problem in brief.
    ProductSelect a product.
  3. Click Done.
    The event is created and is added to the Events list in the Complaint Power View page.
