Reported Part Properties

A reported part represents a reported version of a manufacturer equivalent part from a supplier. It is associated with the material declaration that represents a request to the supplier to report. The material declaration in turn is associated with the manufacturer equivalent part.

After a reported part is created or imported, you can view the reported part and run reports on it to determine if the supplier submission is satisfactory prior to accepting the material declaration. You cannot edit the reported part because it reflects the data that comes from the supplier.

When the material declaration is accepted, the reported part information including its BOM and material structure is copied to the manufacturer equivalent part.
