Adding Parts to an MCO

Manufacturing Engineers can connect manufacturing part revisions to an MCO in the Create state.

A part revision is connected to an MCO in the following cases:

  • To release a new manufacturing part , tool part, material part , or support part.
  • To change the make / buy code of a part.
Note: By assigning the part to the MCO as an affected item and editing the Make/Buy value, a new manufacturing responsibility relationship is created with a new sequence.

Before you begin: Access the Affected Part Revisions page of an MCO. See Affected Part Revisions.
