Create a Cooling Circuit from Scratch
You can use the Robot to create a Cooling Circuit.
- From the Mold Design section of the action bar, click Drilled Cooling Circuit or Conformal Cooling Circuit .
- Optional: Modify the diameter. It applies to all the Cooling Channels of the current Cooling Circuit.
- Drag the Robot to where you want to start the Cooling Circuit.

On the
context toolbar
select:
- Place Robot to position it as wanted.
- Create Circuit or to start the creation of a Cooling Circuit from the current position. Each drag of the Robot creates a Cooling Channel.
- Create Channel to add one to a Cooling Circuit. Drag the Robot to the required length, or use the ruler.
- Move to move the selection. See below.

Pick a point (corner) of the
Cooling Circuit
or the extremity of a
Cooling Channel,
place the
Robot,
select
and drag the
Robot
to move this point.
The point or extremity is moved. The Cooling Channel may form an angle with its initial position.

Pick a
Cooling Channel
near its middle.

In the dialog box, select
Selected (to move only the selection).
Whole zone applies the move to all the Cooling Channels contained in the zone common to all selected Cooling Channels.
- Back in the context toolbar, place the Robot, select Move and drag the Robot to move this Cooling Channel.
The Cooling Channel is moved to its new position, that is parallel to the initial one. -
In the dialog box, select
Selected (to move only the selection).

Select a
Cooling Channel
and
Erase
.
The Cooling Channel is deleted.

Select one or several
Cooling Channels
and
Change Circuit Color
. Select a color and click an empty space.
The color of the selection changes to the new one.

Select a
Cooling Channel
and Cooling
Component Specifications
.
- Select one of the proposed types Connector Plug or O-Ring , or use the type browser to select another one.
- Select a surface that intersects the drill.
The Component Specification is created. -

- Select the required type Baffle or Bubbler .
