This page discusses:

Selection Type

Specify which method you want to use to select elements. The chosen option will be used for all commands which require selecting elements, such as Erase or Transform for example.

Note: No matter which option you select, you will always be able to select elements by holding down Ctrl and tapping the element.

Stroke selection
Select this option to select elements by striking through them. In other words, cross out the elements you want to select.
Trap selection

This option is only available with Sketch, Sketch Primitives, Trace and Trace Primitives. For more information, see Sketching, Sketching Primitives, Tracing and Tracing Primitives.

Set the radius, either using the slider or by tapping the radius value, to define the picking area. The smaller the radius, the more accurate the selection. The picking area appears as a blue zone on which you are able to draw.

Multi-layers selection
This option is available when managing layers. See Organizing your Drawing Using Layers.

Select this option to enable the modification of all layers at once.

By default, the option is cleared.

Draw Type

Specify where you want to draw when sketching or tracing.

On plane
Select this option to draw on the selected plane.
On support
Select this option to draw on the selected support. This support can be one or more surfaces.
On screen plane
Select this option to draw on the screen plane.
On most visible plane
Select this option to draw on the plane that is the closest to the current view.
