Product Lines List Page

The Product Lines page lists your company's product lines and, if applicable, sub product lines.

To access the list of product lines:

With an app that includes Product Line Management active, click .
In the navigation pane, click Product Lines.

Columns

When the Product Lines page opens, the Description and Design Responsibility columns are automatically enabled for inline editing. If you edit the values in these columns, click Save to make your changes permanent.


Column Name	Description
Marketing Name	The defined marketing name for the product line. Click to open the product line. Expand the name to view any sub product lines.
(Derivation Cue)	Indicates that the model version is a derivation.
(Latest Cue)	Indicates that the model version is the latest revision.
Type	Type of business object in the product line.
Name	Name of the product line.
(Image)	Shows the primary image for that object, if defined. Click the image to open the Images page, where you can view all images for the object. See Images Page.
Description	Details about the product line.
State	The current state of the product line in its lifecycle.
Company	The company that owns the product line.
Owner	The person responsible for the product line.
(Open in New Window)	Click to open the product line in a new window.

Product Line > Add Existing	Allows you to search for and add an existing product line. If you select a product line first, adds a sub product line for the selected product line.	About Searches
Model > Create Model	Creates a model and adds it to the product line.	Creating a Model
Model > Add Existing	Allows you to search for and add an existing model.	About Searches
Model Version > Create Model Version	Allows you to create a model version (and its parent model automatically) and adds them to the product line.	Creating a Model Version
Model Version > Create Derivation	Allows you to create a derivation of the selected model version.	Creating a Model Version Revision
Model Version > Create Revision	Allows you to create a revision of the selected model version.	Creating a Model Version Revision
Add to Portfolio	Allows you to search for and select the portfolio to add the selected models and model version to.	About Searches
Remove	Removes the selected objects from the product line, but does not remove them from the database.	-
Delete	Deletes selected objects from the database. Click OK to confirm.	-
