Removing a Traceability Link Between Requirements in the Requirements Specification Editor

You can remove a traceability link that defines a refining or covering relationship between selected requirements in the Requirements Specification Editor.

Before you begin: The requirement specification structure that contains either the source or target requirement in the traceability link must already be opened in the Requirements Specification Editor on the dashboard.

Configuring Preferences for the Requirements Specification Editor
  1. Click next to the requirement that is either the source or target of the traceability link.
    The requirement's context menu opens.
  2. Select Link Management.
    The Links Management dialog box opens.
  3. Select the requirement that either covers or refines the requirement as defined through the traceability link.
  4. Click Detach to remove the traceability link between the requirements.

The traceability link between the requirements is removed.
