Displaying the Content of a Simulation Activity

When you display the content of a simulation activity, Process Composer displays all the data categories in the activity. The Actions menus allows you to manage documents and folders that are stored in the data categories.

About the Content Page
  1. From the search menu in the top bar, search for and select the simulation activity containing the content to display.
    Process Composer displays the simulation activity in the table page.
  2. From the navigation pane, select Content.
    Process Composer displays the data categories inside the simulation activity.
  3. Use the Actions menus in the Content page toolbar to do the following:
    • Add Category: Add a data category. See Data Categories for more information.
    • Add Referenced Content: Add content that refers to a document. See About Referenced Content for more information.
    • Create Document: Create a versioned or nonversioned document. See Versioned and Nonversioned Files for more information.
    • File Actions: Transfer files between the database and your working directory. See About File Actions for more information.
    • Set Input/Output: Specify whether a category, folder, or document will be used as input or output when Process Composer generates an impact graph. See About Impact Graphs for more information.
    • Rules: Create an import, export, or delete rule. See About Rules for more information.
    • Create Folder: Add a folder to the selected category or add a subfolder to the selected folder. See About Folders for more information.
    • Remove: Remove a document or folder. You can also remove the entire category.
    • Lock and Unlock: Lock or unlock the selected category, document, or folder. See About Locking and Unlocking for more information.
    • Access: View a list of all the people that can access a referenced document and their access rights.
    • Show References: View a window that lists where the selected item is referenced or owned.
    • Select Revision: Select a different revision of a document or folder. See About Revisions for more information.

    Note: You can also right-click on an object or a category in the table page and select an action from the context menu that appears.

  4. Expand a category to view any documents or folders that it contains.
  5. Click the tool to view the object in a new window.
