This page describes recent changes in Results Analytics.

R2022x FD01 (FP.2205)

Additional Visualizations and UA Panel in Visual Analytics

You can now create a variety of new visualization types, as well as easily learn more about each visualization type.
The following visualization types are now available for the Visual Analytics page:
  • 3D surface plot
  • Approximation measure
  • Approximation table
  • Coefficient table
  • Image viewer
  • Contour plot
  • Nominal effect plot
  • Objective comparison plot
  • Rank and score breakdown
  • Response table
  • Self-organizing map (previously available from the Explore page)

You can access the User Assistance panel by hovering over a visualization type and clicking More help.

Benefits: The new visualizations expand your visualization capabilities for approximations, advanced statistics, and more. The information provided in the User Assistance panel helps you learn about each visualization type.
For more information, see Visualizations

Python Scripting APIs

You can now use Python to interact with your analytics case using the included APIs.
Benefits: APIs enable you to script Results Analytics workflows by automating tasks such as data postprocessing and approximation creation.
For more information, see Scripting APIs

SDK for Approximations

You can now use the approximation SDK to integrate approximation algorithms in addition to those available in Optimization Process Composer.

You can use these algorithms to create new approximations based on your simulation data.

For approximation SDK documentation, see the CAA documentation.

Benefits: The approximation SDK allows you to integrate in-house algorithms that may be preferable for your simulation data into your workflow.

Tenant and Credentials Display

You can now view your tenant and credentials information from the toolbar at the top of the widget.
Benefits: Viewing tenant and credentials information from the widget top bar lets you quickly check information such as your collaborative space, access role, and organization.
