Create Section

The Create section of the action bar provides commands for creating terrains and their underlying elements as well as for intersecting terrains.



Axis System
Creates an axis system.

Point
Creates a point.

Polyline
Creates an exact broken line.

Circle
Creates an exact circle or a circular arc.

Positioned Sketch
Creates a positioned sketch from any reference and any parameters.

Cloud / Points
Creates standard points from a cloud of points, or creates a cloud of points from standard points.

Create Terrain
Creates a 3D representation of a terrain surface.
Select the main plane, robot-specified plane, or default plane as the reference plane.

Create Terrain From Contour Lines
Meshes discrete polylines according to contour lines.
Use contour lines modeled as polylines to create a 3D representation of a terrain surface.

Triangulate Surface
Converts a surfacic or a volumic object into a triangular mesh.

Free Edges
Creates discrete polylines from the free edges of terrain meshes.

Create Polyline on Cloud
Creates discrete polylines by selecting points on clouds of points, meshes, or discrete polylines.

Planar Sections
Creates planar sections on discrete or exact entities.
To create discrete polylines or curves, cut a cloud of points or a terrain mesh using cutting planes.

Intersect Terrain
Intersects several terrain meshes to create discrete polylines.
Select a terrain mesh as the first element and a second terrain mesh to create the intersection.

Convert to Polyline
Converts exact curves into discrete polylines.
Select a discretization mode and specify the parameters.

Curve Projection
Projects exact curves onto clouds of points or meshes to create discrete polylines.
You can project a curve along either a direction or a normal.

Extract Large Cloud Of Points
Extract from large cloud of points, in a part context.

Generates primitives on large cloud of points, in a part context.

Hide Large Cloud of Points

Hides points of a large cloud in a bounding box from a trap selection, a volume/closed surface or an alignment. When you extract large cloud of points, you can include or exclude the hidden area.
