Removing Assets from Collections

You can remove one or more assets from a collection.

Before you begin:
  • Select the Collections tab of xMedia.
  • The functionality is available only if you are assigned the Can manage or Can edit permission.

Creating Collections
  1. Select a collection of your choice.
  2. To open the Confirm Delete dialog box, depending on your context, do one of the following:

    Context Action
    You want to remove a single asset from the selected collection.
    • From the asset of your choice, click (tap) Menu and select Remove from Collection .
    • Right-click (hold) the asset of your choice and select Remove from Collection .
    • From the app toolbar, click (tap) Remove from Collection .
    You want to remove multiple assets from the selected collection.
    1. Select multiple assets.

    2. From the app toolbar, click (tap) Remove from Collection .

  3. In the Confirm Delete dialog box, click (tap) Confirm.
