Action Bar: Simulation Section

The Simulation section of the action bar provides an app-specific command for starting path planning.

For information about other commands in the action bar, see the Assembly Evaluation User's Guide.

Manage Collections for Track
Creates and manages Track collection lists.
  • Select a Track.
  • Manage Collections for Track.
See Displaying Multiple Minimum Distances Using Track Collections.

Multiple Minimum Distances
Defines multiple minimum distances between moving objects and context objects using Track collections.
  • Select a Track.
  • Define the collections between which the minimum distance has to be computed.
See Displaying Multiple Minimum Distances Using Track Collections.

Path Planning
Activates the path planning capabilities and opens the associated context toolbars.
Start Path Planning command to automatically generate a Track without collision.
See Finding and Optimizing a Collision-Free Track.

Track Plot
Displays a graph for the selected Track. The graph shows the minimum distance between moving objects and the surrounding environment according to Track time.
Track Plot command can be used only for Track editing, Track simulation, or when the Path Planning command is selected.
See Plotting a Track on a Graph.

Track Analysis Assistant
Displays the products in collision.
Command is enabled during Track Authoring, Path Planning and when a Track or Kinematic Track is selected and played.

It is also enabled when selecting and playing a system, workplan, operation, assembly sequence, production system excitation, or manufacturing scenario.

See Using the Track Analysis Assistant.
