Managing Roles

This section describes ways in which the administrator can manage the 3DEXPERIENCE platform roles. A role is a set of apps and options. Once granted, the user can see his roles in the My Roles / Profile section of the Compass and in the Me menu along with his apps in the apps section of the Compass. An option is a role-like container that is not displayed in the Compass because it does not contain any app on its own but it adds apps to the Collaborative Industry Innovator role.
