Defining Mechanisms

To define a mechanism, you must specify which engineering connections from the associated product are enforced in the mechanism. This allows you to determine how the product components move with respect to each other.

You can define a dressup based on rigid engineering connections to attach the components that belong to the model to the mechanism's components. You can also assemble mechanisms to create a macro mechanism that enables reuse and associativity relevant for concurrent engineering purposes.
