IMDS Regulations

You only see this page if you use the ELV Data Management option. This page lists all types of IMDS Regulations for biocide materials and REACH materials and components.

Required access roles:

  • Baseline: Author, Leader
  • App-specific: Compliance Engineer, Senior Compliance Engineer

To access this page:

  1. List the app categories for Materials Compliance Management.
  2. In the navigation pane, click IMDS Regulations.

IMDS Regulation Columns

When you click the row for a part or material, the details for that item show in the IMDS Regulation Details tab at the bottom. You can click to expand the tab to view more rows. The tab name also shows any filters applied to the list (see IMDS Regulations Actions/Toolbar Commands).

Column Name Description
Part/Material Information:
Type The item type: Part or Material.
Name The item name. Click to open that item in a new window.
Rev Mfg For an enterprise part, the revision.
Manufacturer For MEPs and supplied parts, the supplier name.
Regulation Information:
Regulation Type One of these values:
  • REACH Component
  • REACH Material
  • Biocidal Material
Regulation Responsibility

One of these values:

Value Description
Owned Only shows enterprise parts and internal materials
Supplied Only shows MEPs, supplied parts, and external materials

Regulation ID The identifier for the IMDS regulation.
Regulation Create Date The date this regulation was created.
Regulation Request:
Create Date The date the request for this regulation was created.
Resolved Date The date the regulation information was accepted.
Regulation Version:
Version The version level for this regulation.
Create Date The date this version was created.
Release Date The date this version was accepted.

IMDS Regulations Actions/Toolbar Commands

You can filter the list of parts and materials shown in the IMDS Regulations tab. To do so, follow these steps:

  1. Click Filter Regulations.
  2. Select a Regulation Type from the list. You can choose:
    • REACH XIV Component
    • REACH XIV Material
    • Biocidal Material
  3. Select an Ownership option:
    Option Description
    Owned Only shows enterprise parts and internal materials
    Supplied Only shows MEPs, supplied parts, and external materials
    All Both Owned and Supplied parts and materials
  4. Select a State of Information:
    Option Description
    Requested-Fulfilled Shows regulations with a Regulation Version of Released
    Requested-Open Shows regulations with a Regulation Version of Not Released and have a Requested Date
    Unrequested Shows regulations with a Regulation Version of Not Released without any Requested Date
  5. Click Done. The app filters the list and adds your filter selections to the tab name.

IMDS Regulation Detail

When you click the row for a part or material in the top tab, the details for that item show in this tab. You can click to expand the tab to view more rows.

Column Name Description
Type The object type.
Name The name of the object.
Regulation:
Version The version level for this regulation.
Create Date The date this version was created.
Release Date The date this version was accepted.
Request:
Create Date The date this version was created.
Resolved Date The date this version was accepted.
