Display Section

The Display section allows you to manage geometry and mesh display, control the view of element types, set feature display preferences, and use tools to isolate a partial view of the model.

This page discusses:

Mesh Visualization Standard
See Flyout for Mesh Visualization.

Standard Connection Color
See Flyout for Connection Coloring.

Visualization Management
Controls the display of geometry, meshes, and groups.
See Managing the Visualization of Simulation Entities.
Visibility Control
Controls the visibility of glyphs in the model for selected mesh, model, and scenario features.
See Disabling/Enabling Feature Glyph Display.
Clipping Box
Displays only those entities within a 3D box.
See Using the Clipping Box.
Sectioning
Displays the model on only one side of a plane.
See Using a Cutting Plane.

Numbering Visualization
Displays the numbers associated with the nodes and elements of your FEM representation.
See Visualizing Node and Element Numbers.

Mesh Color
Modifies the mesh display colors.
See Coloring Meshes.

Element Shrink
Displays elements at a reduced percentage of their original size.
See Shrinking Elements.
Display Preferences
Controls options for displaying feature symbols, axis systems, and connection meshes.
See Setting Display Preferences.
