Primary Area

The primary area of the Fluid Design section provides commands for creating routes, spools, placing parts, and managing network.

Part Mode

Set Context From Object
Sets the context of work with the properties of the selected object.
Select a logical or physical route or part. The Context section of the Data Information panel is updated with the new properties of the selected object.

Create Route
Creates a route from current context.

Place Part
Lets you select a reference and a location to place a part.
The location can be a port, a route, a cross, on the route skin or in space. The reference can be selected by defining a subtype, from a catalog, or from the chooser. If you are working in Generative Fluid 3D Design, the reference can selected from a logical object.

Duplicate/Mirror Instance
Duplicates a multi selection of an instance from different products.

Piping Spool
Creates an empty piping or tubing spool.

Generate ISOGEN for Multiple Spools
Provides options to generate ISOGEN files from multiple spools.

List Impacting Spools
Lists the spools that impact the selected one.
Select a spool in the tree or in the work area. Right-click a spool in the Spools Impacted dialog box to disconnect or isolate a spool.

Reveal Build Warnings
Lets you reveal warnings and errors that occur during the creation and modification of your flexible routes.

Part Mode
Sets the context to part mode and allows you to access commands for designing the network.
To display the commands, click one of the selection options, apart from the Default Selection.
