Opening a Root Cause

You can open a root cause and view the properties and categories of information for a defect cause.

From the Root Causes Page, click the name of a root cause.
The root cause page is opened. The properties tab displays the details of the root cause.

You can use the categories in the navigation pane to access information related to the root cause.

Category Name Page Tabs Description For More Information
(Defect cause name) Properties Displays the properties of the cause. See Defect Cause Properties.
Customer Extensions Lists the customer extensions associated with the complaint. These customer extensions further define attributes for the cause. Tasks Lists connected tasks. See Tasks.
Reference Documents Lists related documents. See Managing Documents in the Business Process Services - Common User's Guide.
History - Shows a log of all the actions that were performed on the defect cause object.See History Page in the
