Overview of the Interface for Concrete Structures 3D Design

The primary user interface for Concrete Structures 3D Design app consists of immersive flags, common panels, and context toolbars. The majority of the functionality in Concrete Structures 3D Design is accessed through the action bar and displayed in the work area.

3D Concrete Part
The work area displays a 3D representation of the object you are working on—typically your concrete part.
Reinforcing Bar
A dedicated rebar object that will accomodate the rebar layers. For more information, see Concrete Structures 3D Design Objects and Creating a Rebar Object Type.
Rebar Creation Assistant
The Rebar Creation Assistant guides you trough the process of selecting the rebar creation mode that fits your needs, and configuring the related options. For more information, see Rebar Creation Modes.
Reinforcement Section
The Reinforcement section of the action bar provides commands for creating rebars, checking for interferences in a single rebar layer or between rebars layers, generating a rebar report including relevant information for each type of rebar and each rebar layer, showing or hiding wire and layers. etc.
Information Panel
The information panel displays the detected interferences when running an interference analysis either between two rebar layers (globally) or within a single rebar layer (locally). Running an Interference Analysis
Contextual Rebar Supports
Each rebar support —also referred to as role is identified by a color code in the work area:
A dedicated flag is associated to each rebar support and provides contextual commands. See About Configuring the Rebar Position and Procedure for Designing a Reinforcing Bar Object Type
Context Toolbars
The context toolbar appear along the dedicated flag , close to your model during manipulation operations. Its contents depends on the action you are performing.
