Managing the Status of a Traceability Link Between Requirements in the Requirements Specification Editor

You can manage the status of the traceability links between requirements in the Requirements Specification Editor.


Before you begin: The requirement specification structure that contains either the source or target requirement in the traceability link must already be opened in the Requirements Specification Editor on the dashboard.

Configuring Preferences for the Requirements Specification Editor
  1. Click next to the requirement that is either the source or target of the traceability link.
    The requirement's context menu opens.
  2. Select Link Management.
    The Links Management dialog box opens.
  3. Click the Suspect link status of the traceability link.
  4. From the list, select either Valid or Invalid to update the status of the traceability link between the requirements.

The status of the traceability link between the requirements is updated.
