Monitoring a Study

When you activate a study, this creates a Task Plan in BIOVIA Foundation Hub with a task for each test defined in the study and a sample of each material for every test. The scientist performing the procedure described by the task can use Foundation Hub to schedule their work, track their Samples, record the results, and report completion of the work. You can monitor the status of the Foundation Hub Tasks from your study.

Foundation Hub stores all the data acquired during the performance of the Tasks.

If you use sample grouping in your study, this creates a single task in the Task Plan for all materials and storage conditions for each test at each time point. The single task groups together all the Samples for the materials and storage conditions investigated at a given time point. For more information, see Group Samples.
